Thanks for all the great feedback on the new website!
We started the day busy with work and school. Coleen started a new science unit on weather this week. We both laughed while reading the text as when you live on a boat you definitely know about weather, measuring the wind, temperature, and identifying cloud types. Check out our new wind anemometer.
I took Coleen over to the pool after work. The weather was warm but the water too cold for me. However, being seven, she thought it was perfect and swam and played with a little frog.
I finally got the bimini put back together. It took a bit of sorting out, but only one piece was broken and I've made temporary fix on that until I can get to West Marine. I spent a lot of time adjusting it and it actually looks better then before. I also finally broke down and got the old birds nest out of the boom.
Mike, our next door neighbor, invited us to go out sailing to Shell Island tomorrow. It's supposed to be a fun place to anchor, dinghy ashore and enjoy the beach.
The Riverboat had a pirate cruise going out. Scott, the first mate, invited us over to meet Captain Jack Sparrow and have a picture. Just a picture! I was trying to figure out how to capture him and keep him for crew!
