We had great fun singing Christmas carols as we walked back to the marina and on our dinghy ride home. We are not the best of singers to say the least, but we were definitely making a joyful noise. The kids stayed up to watch Elf (turns out they both know almost all the words), while I fell asleep on the settee.
Coleen woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to send her back to bed. Finally, we were all up and about for presents by 8 a.m. which seemed a more reasonable time. Santa was good to all of us this year with awesome presents, but the best present of all was that we were together!
Later that evening, we enjoyed playing Coleen's new game Pass the Pigs and I must say I won the first game. I only brag because I absolutely never win games. It was a nice feeling.
On Wednesday, we picked up rental car and headed over the Kennedy Space Center. Phillip and Coleen enjoyed some great sibling time at the Space Center, while DJ and I did a bit of shopping.
After returning to the boat for a quick dinner, we sadly, had to drive Phillip back to the Orlando airport. It was a wonderful visit, the best Christmas in years and we can't wait until he comes to crew with us again!
