We managed to find a little Christmas tree pre-lit with LED and fiber optics lights. We weren't able to find tiny decorations so we made do with necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Coleen found a tiny angel in her doll collection to use as a tree topper. We also strung some LED lights and garland around the cabin. Coleen made a stocking from construction paper and laced it together with yarn. So it looks a bit like Christmas on the Glass Slipper. Several boats in the harbor have elaborate Christmas lights strung through the rigging and I expect we will follow suit next year - but for now this is enough and Coleen is quite excited. She even thinks this is better than all the hundreds of decorations we ususally have in our house.
We've decided to wait until late March or early April to head to the Bahamas. All indications is that we'll have a better go of it then - once the northerlies have settled down.
