But by early evening everything was clean, shiny, smelled good, and back in order. I actually spent a little time cooking and managed to make my first batch of homemade flour tortillas which then became bean burritos. I must say they far exceeded my expectations for a first batch - not very round, but very tasty. Far better than anything from a package - and it was kind of fun - which I needed after all the not so fun stuff of the day :-)
We relaxed after dinner and finished our book -The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Then we had fun playing in the phosphorescence which is amazingly beautiful. Coleen managed to knock out a her other top front tooth which was already loose- so now she looks really cute :-) She dressed up in a mermaid costume and with her little toothless smile pretended to be on stage and entertained us with songs. Who needs tv when you have all of this?
